If a picture paints a thousand words then you could also say 60 seconds of video paints 1.5m words. Video – in the UK at least - is usually made up of 25 pictures per second – you do the maths!
With the current COVID-19 (Coronovirus) pandemic, more and more companies are being forced to re-consider their staff travel and consequently exhibitions, conferences, conventions and even meetings are being postponed. These events are often vital for the launch of new products and brands. They are also a key component of communicating core brand messages to clients, suppliers and staff alike. It’s very hard to replace this face-to-face time and the value it adds to relationships.
A well-produced film or video is your next best (or even better if you consider the environmental and cost impact of a large event) alternative to facilitate your objective.
When you cannot meet in person, video is an invaluable tool in helping communicate the same sentiments as you might want to deliver in person. Okay so you can’t shake someone by the hand, but you can convey emotion and tone just as you would with your body language and manner, in a way that the written word can never achieve.
