Let's talk
We'd love to discuss your next video project!
Our client was The Wellington Estate, and specifically their Farm Shop and Cafe.
Owned by The Duke of Wellington, the Estate has multiple businesses across their property including a Country Park and Campsite, the main house – Stratfield Saye, and then their Farm Shop & Cafe.
The management go to great lengths to ensure that the produce sold in both of these is – where possible – locally sourced, and often handmade on the premises.
Through their research, they realised a lot of customers do not realise how local the produce is and so they wanted a video for their website and social platforms that would help to inform the existing and potentially new customer-base.
We sat down with those responsible for the running of the Farm Shop & Cafe and got an in-depth understanding of how they source their products and where they come from. We agreed with them that one of the strongest stories was about the beef sold by their butcher – it all comes from their own estate where it’s grass-fed in their huge expanse of fields.
We worked up a creative treatment that would produce a film based around and narrated by key individuals across their business, and ‘decorated’ with beautiful footage of their food and produce, and their huge estate.
Filmed over two days,we captured all the interior footage on one day, working around the opening of the Farm Shop & Cafe so as not to affect their day to day business at all. We then filmed the exterior shots on a day when the weather was better for it, including shooting what we believe were stunning drone shots around the estate, profiling the beauty of their estate and the natural environment in which their beef is produced.
We would highly recommend Ally and Mo Media. The video they produced for us to be used on our website and on our social media channels was exactly what we wanted. They took time to really get to know our business and understand the core of who we are, so that they could advise us on the best way to steer our narrative. They also understood that some of our team members are not comfortable in front of the camera and made them feel completely at ease. The outcome was exceptional.

We delivered a film which exceeded expectations for the client and delivered a significant return on investment.
As well as delivering the main film, we also produced cut-down versions for social media, as well as supplementary films such as ‘How To Cook The Perfect Steak’ from material that we captured on the shoot.
The main film became their most watched to date on their Facebook page and prompted a 50% increase in interactions around it over their social platforms.
Most importantly, we exceeded the client’s expectations and delivered a film far above what they had thought was achievable for the budget available.
